A young person has submitted one or more photos to the Images Into Action research project. Because this participant is under 18, we ask that a parent or guardian review the information below and provide permission for the images to be included in the study.
Images Into Action is led by Mark Altermann, a graduate student at Royal Roads University, under the supervision of Dr. Robin Cox. The project works with a Youth Research Advisory Group who invited young people to submit photos showing their perspectives on climate change and climate action.
Your child submitted one or more photographs related to climate change or climate action. These images may be reviewed and selected by the research team and Youth Research Advisory Group.
With your permission, your child’s photo(s) may be used to create visual stories about how young people understand and respond to climate issues. Images may appear in research outputs such as:
Participation is voluntary, and submitting a photo is your child’s only involvement in this study. No personal identifying information about your child will be shared publicly. Images will be stored securely on password-protected devices. You or your child may withdraw permission at any time before the images are published or included in research materials.
