Presently the principal owner of Irene Corman Consulting, Coaching Training and Research, I am an educator who has worked at K through 12 and at the university level as a teacher, principal, and Associate Superintendent of Schools in Greater Victoria. As well, I have twice been seconded to government working in the Ministry of Education.
My interest is in leadership, communication for dialogue, and semiotic and transdisciplinary studies. With that as a basis, coaching and presentations are founded on those principles that integrate all of those areas.
In my association with Royal Roads University, I assisted in the design of the Master’s in Climate Action Leadership and am now the K-12 Advisor/Liason for a Research Project called Youth Designing Climate Resilience that is a partnership between BC and Puerto Rico.
